Lindsay Barlow began practicing yoga in 2003 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida while expecting her first child. Looking for prenatal fitness and relief from the physical demands of pregnancy, yoga was perfect. Post pregnancy, yoga became an excellent cross training to running and other fitness interests. After a move to East Tennessee, and two more children, yoga also became a resting place from the hustle and bustle of life. Creating a quiet space to allow her mind to be at ease and restore has been key to managing stress. With a background in leading group fitness classes, both land and water, instructing yoga was a natural next step. She is active in a CrossFit community and enjoys swimming and rowing. Yoga brings balance and she loves sharing that passion with other students.
